Susan Levine, Ph.D., is co-director of the Center for Early Childhood Research and serves as professor and chair of the Department of Psychology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Levine’s research focuses on early spatial, math, and language skills in typically developing children and children with early brain injury. She is particularly interested in how home and school environments support cognitive development in young children. Dr. Levine’s recent research also examines how adults may convey particular anxieties to children and impact children’s achievement in those domains.
