Advisory Board

Dr. Emily Zemke is the associate director of school partnerships at Teachers College. She previously initiated and managed a large grant-funded project to raise the profile of science and mathematics teaching and learning in London. As part of that effort she founded and produced a periodical magazine, XCM (Extra-Curricular Magazine), for London teachers on behalf of the city’s 14 teacher training providers. Her doctorate studies focused on teachers’ professional identity, and she has published on this topic in the US, UK and Australia. Her research interests also include college/university-assisted schools, university-school partnerships, urban education and research methods in education.
