Clancy Blair, Ph.D., is a Professor of Applied Psychology at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, New York University. Dr. Blair studies self-regulation in young children and is most interested in the development of executive functions and the ways in which these aspects of cognition are important for school readiness and early school achievement. He is also interested in developing and evaluating school curricula that targets school failure through the promotion of executive functions in pre- and elementary schools.
