Advisory Board

Ann Hallock is the Editorial Director of Disney Publishing’s US Consumer Magazine Group. In this role, she oversees content, design, and the creative staff for FamilyFun magazine, and is involved in all brand extensions. With Disney Publishing since 1991, she was the editor of FamilyFun for more than 7 years, the Creative Director of Disney Adventures and Wondertime for 3 years, and has been integral in numerous initiatives for the magazine group, including special themed issues, major redesigns, the launch of FamilyFun.com in 1995, the creation of an in-house test kitchen, and many major brand franchises. In the professional pursuit of fun for families, she has demonstrated crafts on television, ridden on a motorized skateboard as part of toy testing, and frosted countless birthday cakes.

Prior to joining Disney, she worked at the award-winning New England Monthly magazine, and as a writer and researcher. She has a BA in English and Fine Arts from Amherst College, and lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, with her husband and two young children.
